______________________________________________________________________ Full Moon August 9th This Full Moon will highlight our fears and faith. Reality as we’ve known it may start dissolving before our eyes. Or worse still, you might FEEL like something is dissolving under your feet, but have no idea what’s really going on. What will you do when you don’t have X (whatever that may be for you) to count on any more? Will your job continue to support you? Or do you find yourself standing at the edge of an abyss, feeling chased by lions, tigers and bears? Maybe it’s time to learn how to fly or take a leap of faith. If that sounds too hard, just choose a new story. Maybe those lions, tigers and bears are suddenly interested in something else now, leaving you the perfect opportunity to move in a new direction. Start telling yourself a new story about your situation. It could something like you have a job that you love and will continue to support you. Even if this isn’t true at the moment, having a new story, and reminding yourself of it at every opportunity, will help create it. In addition to this situation, we have even stronger energies coming onto the planet this week. Hopefully you have cleaned up some clutter in your home or office, maybe even detoxified your body, in preparation for this. As we continue to get higher frequency energies onto the planet each year, we’re being asked to heal and transform more of our old patterns that no longer support us. These include patterns from the physical level to the emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. If you haven’t yet done some clutter clearing, do it now if needed. This will also help create clarity about the new story you’re choosing. Let go of whatever isn’t supporting you now, especially your fears. ______________________________________________________________________ How to Invest in Gold Some of you have asked me how to invest in gold. So here’s a quick primer. First, forget about investing in gold mines, gold indexes, etc. Just get the REAL deal and buy some gold coins. Why do I say this? Because when you invest in a gold mine or index, you don’t own gold. You own a piece of paper that’s tied to the value of the US dollar. The US dollar has no place to go but DOWN in the long run. Likewise, gold has no place to go but UP in the long run. And that long run is pretty quickly appearing! August may be your last month to buy gold at a price lower than the high we had this spring, over $700 per ounce. By the end of December, gold will no doubt be a lot higher than that. So if you’re going to get on this bandwagon, don’t wait any longer. Second, I recommend you buy gold coins that are not numismatic. Buy coins that are basically sold by weight. This is a good store of wealth, and when the value of the dollar drops, you need ways to store your wealth. Buy Gold Eagles, Maple Leafs, Kruggerands, or any type of gold bullion. This is very liquid. You can sell it nearly any day of the week. Third, once you get your gold coins, you’ll notice that they’re SMALL. You can put a small fortune, like $30,000 into a very small space when it’s in gold coins. Don’t take them to the bank and put them into a safety deposit box. Banks can now confiscate your gold and money from a safety deposit box whenever there’s a disaster (like Katrina). A metal box in your home is plenty good enough. You can store them somewhere no one looks, such as in a special container that looks like a soup can in your pantry. Fourth, some people will tell you to buy numismatic gold coins in case the government confiscates gold again. The government cannot confiscate numismatic coins (defined as worth more than 15% of the weighted value). Maybe that will happen, but will you be upset if the government pays you $3000 per ounce for your gold, when you paid less than $700 per ounce for it? If you really want to play the confiscation game, get some numismatic coins as well, and then you can win both ways. Lastly, if the only money you have to invest is in your IRA or 401K, there are companies who can purchase Gold Eagles for you and store them for you in your IRA or 401K facilities. Don’t take no for an answer. Just find a place that will do this for you. Money invested in most stocks cannot keep pace with the falling dollar. You want the REAL deal, not a stock, not an index.
