FINANCIAL OR RELATIONSHIP EARTHQUAKES Today we have an unusual line-up of cycles. First of all, we have Venus square Pluto peaking today, which is a cycle related to large amounts of debt or serious financial challenges. This is happening on the same day that we get the second peak of Saturn opposite Uranus, the cycle related to unexpected changes, like earthquakes or personal quakes. This cycle is disruptive and designed to make the needed changes which have been put off for too long. The Universe is here to make them for you! With this combination, we could see some major financial news over the next several days, which will shake things up. How about the cover story in this week's Business Week saying "The Banks are Broken (and the sooner we realize it the better)"? They are correct, of course, and it's good they are putting the issue out there squarely, instead of dancing around it the way our media has done for the past year. The issue of the banking industry is enormous. No amount that the bailouts have talked about could even touch the amount of losses that banks are holding. Some estimates are up to $5 trillion for bank losses, and I think that number is way too low. The real question in my mind is, should we even bother trying to save these banks? Maybe we should bury them and use the bailout money to recapitalize new ones? Of course first we need Congress to get real about what's happened to the banks. Those trillions of derivatives are failing. This cycle can also indicate that an important, but chalenging, relationship needs to transform permanently to a more equal power balance. If that cannot happen, then the relationship is likely to fail at this point or in the next two months. This Venus is in the sign of Aries and she's no diplomat. In fact, this is the Venus who represents a warrior, someone like Xena. As Pluto challenges this Venus, she responds by doing something unexpected and fighting back. If you''re playing the part of Pluto, who's the heavyweight, or the person in power, you better watch out, as she will tear you to shreds! And she won't even say she's sorry. We're seeing relationship challenges now which will define the primary issues when Venus goes retrograde and moves backwards to revisit these same issues between March 6th and April 17th. It's common to see relationships break-up,both personal and business ones, during the Venus retrograde. This week you're getting the warning shot. With the Saturn opposite Uranus cycle peaking for the second of five times today, any relationship challenges you have are likely to unexpectedly explode this week. _______________________________________________________ LOOKING AHEAD:INTRODUCE NEW PRODUCTS OR SERVICES IN FEBRUARY OR WAIT UNTIL JUNE Speaking of Venus retrograde, which is coming up March 6 - April 17th, I want to give you a heads up! Venus retrograde is NOT a good time to introduce new products, put your house or business on the market, or try to close an important new deal. That's because everyone is rethinking money then and they're likely to value your new product or service, or your home, at a LOWER price than what you prefer. Just a couple of weeks after the Venus retrograde is over, we get Mercury retrograde again from May 7th - May 30th. So there's a LOT of rethinking occurring during the spring months. The time in between these two retrogrades has both Mercury and Venus slow, so it's not a great time to introduce a major product line. The speed of Mercury represents the speed of communications and transactions. The speed of Venus represents the speed with which we exchange money. When they're slow, the products or services we introduce during that time are slow to sell. This means our good choices for introducing products or services, or listing homes or businesses for sale are February or later, such as in June, July, or August. There are opportunities in October or November too. On Monday, February 9th, we get the Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse. This is the companion eclipse to the Solar Eclipse we had on January 25th. So it’s primarily related to being involved in new groups or circles of people and possibly a more serious relationship commitment. This is a big help if you've just gone through a major break-up with someone or lost a job recently, as this will put you in touch with new groups or people who can assist you.
The
secondary meaning of this eclipse relates to good tidings or
messages and opening up communications. A person or organization
that’s impacted by this eclipse will feel a strong sense of purpose
or direction, possibly even feeling divinely guided. With this
eclipse it’s important to stay focused on your purpose and not get
sidetracked by gossip or useless chatter. For
the This
eclipse occurs at 21 degrees 0 minutes of Leo. If you or your
company have a planet or sensitive point between 17 and 25 degrees
of Leo or Aquarius, this cycle will pertain to you.
