This new Moon gives us a hint about what we’re harvesting, and it looks like it’s more inflation and unrealistic expectations. However, we also have the possibility of harvesting some great, unexpected growth opportunities! This is a "sorting job" to discern which is which. The unexpected growth opportunities peak on August 29th, but the energy stays with us through September 26th. Be on the lookout for these possibilities! We’re also looking at the potential for financial challenges, as old ways of working dissolve around us. This is mainly a question of what do we value? Once we’re clear on that, we can rebuild with a new vision and strategy. To assist with this question, here’s part of a "harvesting" poem by German poet, Rainier Maria Rilke, translated by David Whyte: "Now, already, the ripening barberries grow red, and the old asters hardly breathe in their beds. Whoever is not rich, now that summer goes will wait and wait and never be themselves. " This is from the book, The Heart Aroused, Poetry and the Preservation of the Soul in Corporate America, by David Whyte. There’s also a major temptation to overspend now. Be very careful of this! Spending a lot now is heavily associated with those unrealistic expectations. Do your homework thoroughly before you buy. This is also the time to transform the way you compete for business. Forget about competing on price. Quality is what’s really being measured in buying decisions.
