Usually Mars is in a sign for six weeks. Even worse, Mars was in a major quagmire during most of that time and we are thankfully beyond that now. So we can all breathe a sigh of relief that Mars has now moved into Gemini, where it will be until April 13th. In business, Mars represents how we compete, our goals and strategies for reaching them, and what motivates us to show up at work. When it’s in the sign of Gemini, we’re suddenly presented with multiple possibilities. So this is the first thing to watch for: multiple, new ways to compete for business. You’re likely to get a bunch of ideas, but you may not have enough information to make a good decision. This is like having brainstorming sessions with the Universe. Take notes! These new ways of competing are likely to be related to knowledge, data, information, transportation, and whom you know that can be a resource for you. Don’t overlook the possibility that some of the knowledge you have that can help you compete may be very unusual and/or scientific, (Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, has been hanging out with Uranus). It could also transcend the usual boundaries of knowledge or data and include intuitive wisdom (Mercury is in the sign of Pisces). If you are getting psychic hits, dreams, or visions about what to do next, follow it. Especially between February 22nd and February 28th, there is support for taking right action and getting those hard jobs completed (Mars sextile Saturn). Be sure to make maximum use of this time. Between March 5th – March 12th, we get a period when things can get explosive (Mars square Uranus). This could include your computers getting fried, so be sure you’re doing very frequent back-ups during this period. Also be careful what you say, as some of those career-limiting statements could create unintended consequences. It’s a good time to get extra exercise before you give someone a piece of your mind. If you really handle this excess energy well, you could have either a mental or emotional breakthrough, leading you to even better situations than you had imagined. Between March 18th – March 26th, this is a period when you can focus on your vision for the business or your part of it (Mars trine Neptune). If you’re in need of inspiration, or just want to be in the flow, this is when you’re likely to get it. Finally between April 1st and April 9th, we’ll be transforming some of our motivations, goals and/or strategies (Mars opposite Pluto). Transformation isn’t the easiest path we get to take, but this time we have help in the form of a woman (Venus trine Mars and sextile Pluto). Whoever this person is in your situation, she can make this rough spot easy for everyone. Look for this easy way out.
