BLUE AND RED COMMUNICATIONS
Have you noticed that we’re now in the Blue Communications period? This means it’s time to double check everything before you send it out. This is because this period has the highest number of mistakes made. It’s all in the details and this time, probably also in your computer and other electronic devices. It’s best to double check the details so you don’t make mistakes that you have to fix later. There’s always a time when you’ve made the mistake, but it hasn’t gone out. That’s the time to catch it.
At this point, you cannot outrun Red Communications. Mercury has already started going through the area that it’s going to retrace. So it’s better to slow down and recheck everything.
Red Communications or Mercury retrograde starts on January 28th and will last through Feb 18th. Now is the time to fix your car if it’s making noises, and do a full-system back-up of your computers. It’s wise to fix car noises now, so your car doesn’t stop working during this period. If you can do preventative maintenances to your computer, in addition to the full-system back-up, that’s also helpful. Computers and other types of electronic equipment (printers, faxes, ipods, etc) have higher crash rates during Mercury retrograde.
Remember that Mercury retrograde is known for miscommunications. So please double check what you think you heard or read. And when you encounter miscommunications, remember it’s not personal.
Plan now to schedule about 50% of what you normally schedule for your workload during Mercury retrograde. This is so you have enough time to catch up (a primary function of this cycle) and enough time in your schedule to put the crises that will show up to be fixed during this period. If you leave enough room in your schedule, you won’t have to reschedule everything off your calendar when a big mess arises.
Mercury retrograde favors doing anything that starts with RE. So it’s great for making repairs, doing research, reworking, redoing, rethinking, revisiting, reviewing, etc. Look for ways to do these kind of activities and you’ll be in sync with the cycle.
