| THE US DOLLAR, THE FED
AND GOLD
What's happening to the US dollar? We're now seeing signs that the US dollar is taking a "dive" in international currencies. This is related to what I wrote about in the Q4 Newsletter. Other countries, particularly the OPEC countries, Japan, France, China and more are deciding they no longer want to sell oil and other products in US dollars. Instead they're talking about creating a basket of currencies to use as a world currency and it will INCLUDE GOLD. Are you getting the picture of why I keep telling you to buy gold and get out of dollars? Our US dollar is about to devalue in the international arena in a big way. How much of what you buy comes from other countries? The majority! How long will it take for this to happen? There's talk of it taking 9 years for this process to fully occur. Do NOT believe this. The cycles are much faster than that. Even the SLOWEST cycle (Uranus square Pluto) would hit multiple times by 2012, and even that cycle starts by mid-2010 in a big way. Actually, it's impacting the US dollar even now. We're in range of Saturn square Pluto and it's going to become much stronger by the end of October, when Saturn moves into Libra. In the next two - three months, we could see some very fast changes occur to the economy. I do not think we will have a financial "meltdown" but the power of the US is rapidly diminishing. And a lot of that power loss will come from the fact that the US dollar will not be used as the world currency. What does that mean to you? It means our dollar will buy less and less of products from overseas, which is the majority of what's available in our consumer stores. But what does it mean to the US? It means other countries are not willing to buy our US Treasury bonds to finance the US debt. And it also means that other countries are tired of financing the wars that the US finances with those bonds. And what does all this mean to the derivatives and hedge funds? Probably that a lot more are going to fail. I can guarantee you that the Fed is not only shaking in its boots, it's probably being reorganized or restructured, even as I write this. (Saturn opposite the Fed's MC, square the Fed's Pluto, and square the Fed's Sun) The US dollar is its primary product (Federal Reserve Notes) and having their cash cow derailed is not going to help them maintain their status quo. But time is up for the Fed. It may wait until next July or August to change, but I guarantee you, it's being restructured behind closed doors. Of course the real question is whether the Fed will get MORE power over the financial markets, or if they will be required to stop charging the US government interest for each US dollar. The answer actually depends on us and what we will allow by our inaction. If we want to stop paying the highest percentage of the US debt to the Fed, then we have to send messages to Congress. It's likely that this fall, we will see the real cracks in the system. Don't be afraid of this. We need to get this stuff out in the open where it can be changed. We can't fix something that we don't know is broken. Unfortunately, the Fed was broken from the get-go, but we didn't know it. Most still people still don't know it or, like President Wilson said, we'd be up in arms and out in the streets. But we're not there yet. So how does gold fit into this situation? Already the international community is asking for gold to have some portion of the "basket of world currencies". It's only a matter of time before the US dollar must be backed by gold or else face the potential to devalue to 50 cents or 25 cents on the dollar for international purchases. Do you think the US will sit by and lose their dollar without making any changes?? Not too likely! They will finally have to bite the bullet and back the dollar with some percentage of gold. Monday's price of gold is about $1056 per ounce. But after a world basket of currencies is created and includes gold, OR the US dollar is backed by gold, the price could be $2000 per ounce? $5000 per ounce? Something in-between? Don't be fooled into selling your gold yet. If you don't yet have some standard gold coins, be sure to get some right away, even if you have to sell stocks or bonds to do it. ____________________________________ SEE "CAPITALISM: A LOVE STORY" Michael Moore has done a very good job of waking people up to how capitalism has gone astray. His movie contains some amazing stories, and some very important information. Be sure to see this movie. It will help explain a lot of what's happening. He's demonstrating with his stories the major redistribution of wealth, away from the middle class (and even the poor) to the most wealthy. We've been watching this occur for the past few years with the foreclosures, and watched it again this year with the federal bailouts. His movie makes a point of the memo that the FBI wrote in 2004 (?) that predatory lending practices for mortgages was "EPIDEMIC." Of course a large number of FBI agents were moved out of that arena after the memo appeared, and moved instead to focus on terrorism. I believe I heard a number like 80% of the bad mortgages written were predatory (meaning the customer wasn't the one seeking the money). Essentially many of these people were given illegal mortgages and then forced out of their homes. This was not by accident. It was done with intention. Yet we bailed out the banks, not the foreclosed homeowners, and that was by intention too. He's also showing stories that demonstrate the Uranus square Pluto revolutionary cycle, which we're now in the early stages. He even shows a speech by a Congress woman who tells people facing foreclosure to STAY IN THEIR HOMES! In his credits, he lists a statistic that a new foreclosure occurs once every 7.5 seconds! NOTICE the part of the memo from Goldman Sachs to the upper 1% of the population about them forming a PLUTOCRACY, where their money is more than the all the rest of the other 99% combined. Essentially they control everything that happens. This is the Pluto in Capricorn cycle we're in, which consolidates economic power. Had it not been for the revolutionary cycle of Uranus square Pluto occurring at the same time, we may have seen this come to pass without any resistance. But they know they could lose control because of the one peson, one vote system. Each person needs to do their part to rebalance this situation in a better way. Be sure to see this movie and get a clearer grasp of the many ways capitalism needs to change. Pluto in Capricorn is the time when capitalism will be transformed.
