That pesky Mercury retrograde isn't all bad! It's actually the Universe's way of getting us to do some worthwhile things that may not otherwise get done.
Here are my Top 10 things to focus on during the next Mercury retrograde. Try them out and let us know the results - we ❤ feedback!
1. Slow Down
It's not always beneficial to go 90MPH down the road of life. Double-check all your details. It will save you time later if you catch your mistakes before they get "out the door."
2. Catch Up
Mercury retrograde is a time to catch-up. Everyone needs time to do this, so use it for this. Sort and file those paper piles. Finish up projects, so you'll have room on your plate for something new when this is over.
3. Schedule 50% of Your Normal Workload
This allows you time to catch up! Plus when you find mistakes or tasks that MUST be fixed or done immediately (you will), you'll have some holes in your schedule to do that, without having to reschedule your day or week.
4. Find Your Mistakes & Fix Them
This is integral to success, yet how often do we schedule time to review our work so we can find our mistakes?
5. Make Repairs
Everything from your automobile to your Zamboni might be asking for a little TLC. A lot of cars break down during Mercury retrograde, so it's faster to get your car repaired before Mercury retrograde, during the Blue Communications period.
6. Reconsider, Research, Rethink, Review your Possibilities and Options
Mercury retrograde is the time for nearly all things "Re-". This is not the time to start new projects, because we need to reconsider our needs and catch-up.
7. Reconnect With People
It's a great time to reconnect with old family, friends or customers. Get out the photo albums, old videos, or make new ones! Find out what your old customers need now.
8. Recycle Old Items To Better Uses
Go through closets, clean out file cabinets, have a yard sale!Make room for the new.
9. Learn Something New
This often happens by finding our mistakes. Or take a training, workshop or online class!
10. Reprint , Rework, Redo
Projects often run into delays during this period, in order to correct something that didn't go right the first time. This is the time to redo, reprint or rework anything. For project planning purposes, it's a good idea to anticipate delays during these periods.
