Amy Colleen Gouvea
As a certified feng shui professional, Amy brings a unique level of study, knowledge, and experience to her practice. For the past three years Amy has undertaken an intense and focused study of feng shui from the Black Sect Tantric Buddhist perspective with Teacher Ho Lynn Tu, one of the most accomplished and knowledgeable teachers on feng shui in the United States. Studying privately, one-on-one in the ancient oral transmission method with Teacher Ho, has given her a profound training that is unique in the field of feng shui. Her study incorporates the concepts of the I Ching, Taoism, Ch’i, Buddhism, meditation, Chinese folk culture and others. Amy has dedicated herself exclusively to the complete and continuous study of feng shui based on the Lin Yun School.
Prior to her feng shui career, Amy worked for 11 years in the social and customer service industry. Her experience includes counseling, teaching, administrative coordinating, communications, and travel.
What is feng shui?
Literally translated, feng shui stands for wind water and is the ancient Chinese art of placement. Feng shui has been used successfully for centuries to enhance and improve all areas of life through adjustments to our immediate environment. A feng shui consultation is an analysis of your space from many different angles including; Ch’i flow, ba-gua placement, lot/building/room/office shape, intuition, the 5 elements, and many others. By incorporating feng shui adjustments, we can align the immediate environment with the natural flow of Ch’i, which brings prosperity, vitality, and better health to your business and employees. By adjusting your space with specific goals in mind, you can transform and improve your business in any/every area. Use of furniture placement, color, light, sound and many other feng shui methods are considered. Every situation in nature is unique, requiring individual care and attention.
