ARE YOU READY FOR STOCKS TO FALL? POWER OUTAGES? AND MORE? OK, I know you're out there. You've been meaning to take action for months, but somehow you've been too busy to notice that we're nearly to the Lunar Eclipse this Saturday on June 26th. This is the one that could easily be associated with major power outages, particularly due to very large solar flares and coronal mass ejections from the Sun. This is the Sun and Mercury (communications) both opposite Pluto (power) and the Moon (people) both square (challenging) Uranus (electricity). And of course, let's remember that Jupiter is right there with Uranus, suggesting LOTS of power outages or unexpected emergencies. And if that isn't enough already, Saturn is also there square to Pluto, the Moon, the Sun, and Mercury, while it's also opposite Uranus and Jupiter. That suggests that the old (Saturn) power (Pluto) grid (Saturn) we have here is likely to be in big trouble if a major solar flare or coronal mass ejection from the Sun hits it. This is your reminder that emergencies are likely to be close-at-hand. How likely? Probably in the range of 70- 75% likely. Are you ready for them? If not, NOW, yes TODAY and TOMORROW, is the time to get ready. Get some food you can eat without cooking, which you can store awhile if needed. Have some extra water on hand. Have some extra first aid supplies available. Have extra batteries for your flashlights and have some flashlights and candles. Have food and supplies for your pets, extra prescriptions, a full tank of gas, some blankets and so forth. Unless you've been living under a rock, you probably know this drill.This eclipse can also be associated with earth changes such as volcanoes, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons, tsunamis, asteroids, major fires, and just about any other type of unexpected change you can imagine. Even the situation in the Gulf can create unexpected shifts in the earth crust and earthquakes. OK, so let's talk stocks for a moment. If you're not a day trader, it's best not to be in stocks now. Stocks are about to drop significantly. This probably won't happen all at once, but stocks are likely to drop as low as the 9000 range over the next month. We're already watching the early stages of this. The Dow Jones Industrial Average might get lucky and stay a little higher, but it's not what I would bet on. If you have oil stocks or certain mining stocks, you're probably OK. But just the general mutual funds? Get into cash to ride out this summer. Or put it into gold (or some percentage into gold and other metals). Gold will continue to go up through at least the end of 2011, probably to over $2000 per ounce. Remember you can buy gold Electronically Traded Funds, like GLD, IAU or SGOL, which is stored in Switzerland. These are great for 401Ks or IRAs. Of course if you can manage to buy the real deal, even better! Last, but not least, how are you sleeping? Have you been waking up in the mddle of the night? Do you feel like something's amiss or you're forgetting something really important? Well this is IT! So have at it! You know what you need to do. It's time to get it done. Ask the Universe for some help if needed, but let's all get prepared for whatever unexpected changes this summer brings.
